Speaker:

Today's Sport is Life guest is James

Speaker:

Whitty, young man that I coached in

Speaker:

football about 10 or so years ago.

Speaker:

He's a man well beyond his years.

Speaker:

And today you're going to learn about how

Speaker:

you can turn some massive

Speaker:

setbacks into your life, into finding

Speaker:

purpose, to creating a career that you

Speaker:

love and to be able to impact so many

Speaker:

different people in a positive way.

Speaker:

I'm Ian Hawkins and this is Sporty's

Speaker:

life. The purpose of sport, as I

Speaker:

see it, is to see your vision become a

Speaker:

reality, find your voice, create

Speaker:

strong connections and learn to trust

Speaker:

your body.

Speaker:

What an impressive young man James is. So

Speaker:

many great lessons there, being able to

Speaker:

deal with setbacks, finding the mental

Speaker:

strength to overcome countless injury

Speaker:

setbacks. But the best lesson that I

Speaker:

would, if I was you take and add to your

Speaker:

game plan is to be able to take that

Speaker:

time to remove the distractions, to

Speaker:

pause. And to take some time to

Speaker:

ask yourself, how can I be better?

Speaker:

How can I actually make a difference,

Speaker:

make a bigger impact and find that sense

Speaker:

of purpose in your life. If

Speaker:

you are on the Sunshine Coast and you

Speaker:

want some face to face PT, make sure you

Speaker:

check him out. But he also does online

Speaker:

personal training, so we'll make sure

Speaker:

he's got his links there in the show

Speaker:

notes. And if you're wanting to find more

Speaker:

purpose in your life, I'll make sure in

Speaker:

the show notes you can find access to my

Speaker:

purpose training. So you can make that

Speaker:

start yourself defining more purpose in

Speaker:

your life.

Speaker:

You've taken the time to listen to this

Speaker:

whole episode. Now it's time to take

Speaker:

action. Commit to one thing you've

Speaker:

learned today and make it happen. And to

Speaker:

avoid any obstructions, join the Sporty's
